Hippo信号通路是动物发育过程中控制器官大小的核心通路。它在肿瘤发生、干细胞分化、组织器官再生及先天免疫等过程中发挥重要作用。本课题组将以果蝇遗传学为主要手段,深入研究Hippo信号通路在动物发育及先天免疫中的作用机制。同时,我们还将以果蝇遗传筛选为基础,结合细胞生物学及比较基因组学等方法,鉴定新的器官大小调控基因及先天免疫因子。
The highly conserved Hippo signaling pathway plays pivotal roles in organ size control, tumorigenesis, stem cell differentiation, tissue regeneration and innate immunity. Using the genetically tractable Drosophila (fruit fly) as a model organism, our research will focus on how Hippo signaling pathway is involved in animal development and innate immunity. Meanwhile, by coupling Drosophila genetic screens with cell biology and comparative genomics, we will identify conserved factors that engage in organ size control and innate immunity.
