本课题组以模式植物拟南芥和水稻为研究对象,综合运用细胞生物学、分子生物学等多学科技术手段,开展被子植物生殖生物学的研究工作,包括但不限于下列研究方向:
1. 有性生殖中细胞命运决定的调控机制。探索细胞命运决定的调控机制是生命科学恒久不变的主题。在被子植物世代交替的生活史中涉及生殖系细胞等一系列重要且高度特化的细胞的发育命运决定,本课题组着重解析精细胞命运决定的调控机制、卵细胞命运决定的调控机制等,以期提供对于细胞命运决定及其可塑性的新认识。
2. 配子成熟与功能特化的分子机制。雌/雄配子发生是被子植物有性生殖的核心环节,决定着双受精作用的实现以及农作物种子的形成。本课题组着重探讨精细胞/卵细胞成熟发育的调控机制、配子发生过程中的胞间通讯与信号转导等,以期阐明配子成熟及其功能特化的分子机制,并致力于推动植物生殖发育研究在农业生产中的实践应用。

Our research interest is plant reproductive development, including but not limited to the following research directions:
1. Regulatory mechanisms of cell fate determination in plant sexual reproduction.
2. Molecular mechanisms of gamete maturation and functional specialization.
